I was a part of many weddings in 2014, and thought it would be a fun project to cull together all the best moments from those weddings. The result is a wedding reel for 2014. I challenged myself to make it a short, fun watch packed with only the best of the best.
I’m proud to have captured so many different types of moments: emotional, silly, breathtaking, touching. What’s great about shooting video at weddings, and why I like it better than shooting on a film set, is I get to be right in front of Real Human Emotions. Because of how interested I am in capturing peoples’ personalities and emotional responses, my videos have a storytelling quality to them. My documentary approach means that none of those group hugs, laughing fits, or happy tears are missed.
